Daniel Natic

Daniel Natic has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Daniel currently works as the Vice President of Engineering at LeaseQuery, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sierra Wireless as a Senior Cloud Architect from August 2022 to November 2023. Before that, they were the Director of Software Engineering at IKEA from November 2020 to August 2022. Daniel's extensive experience includes working as a Software Engineering Manager at The Weather Company, an IBM Business, from October 2012 to November 2020, where they built a robust and scalable application solution. Daniel also worked as a Systems Analyst at SolTech Inc from February 2010 to October 2012, specializing in developing custom business solutions. Daniel'scareer started as a Lead Developer at America's Home Place from 2008 to 2010. Daniel's expertise lies in building software solutions using a range of technologies and frameworks, including Scala, MongoDB, CassandraDB, Akka, Twitter Scala Stack, and the Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server).

Daniel Natic completed their education with a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2020 and 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Computer Science from The University of Georgia from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also obtained several certifications, including Data or Specimens Only Research from the CITI Program in August 2021 and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in 2009. Daniel also completed numerous certifications from IBM, such as Watson and Cloud Foundations, Agile Advocate, Cloud Private - Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipelines, and many others.
