Wouter van Rooij

Wouter van Rooij currently serves as the Global IT Security Director at Leaseweb since January 2023. Prior to this role, Wouter was the Head of Operations at Eurofins Cyber Security Netherlands from February 2021 to January 2023, and before that, Wouter led the cybersecurity portfolio as Business Unit Leader at ONEPOINT from August 2017 to February 2021. Wouter's earlier experience includes serving as the Operational Manager of the Security Center of Excellence at Sogeti Nederland from December 2013 to July 2017, alongside roles as an ethical hacker, security specialist, and owner of Mobile Security Company in 2013. Wouter's career reflects a strong background in cybersecurity and operational management, contributing to significant advancements in the field. Education was attained at Atheneum, van Maerlant Lyceum from 2000 to 2006.
