Matthew Sheppard

Matthew Sheppard has extensive work experience in finance and business roles. Matthew is currently working as the UK Finance Director at Lebara since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Finance Business Partner at The Football Association from May 2019 to September 2022. Before that, Matthew worked at Optus as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager and Commercial Finance Manager, leading the business partner team and analyzing market data to influence distribution strategy. Matthew also has experience as a Treasury Accountant at Lion and Assistant Manager Audit at PwC Australia. Matthew began their career at PwC as a Senior Associate.

Matthew Sheppard attended Whitley Bay High School from 1999 to 2004. Matthew then went on to study at the University of Leeds from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a BA (hons) degree in Economics.
