Walid Khoury

Walid Khoury is a board member at LebNet. Walid was previously the Chief Information Security Officer at YAI from January 2016 to December 2019.

At YAI, Walid led a comprehensive agency-wide data driven digital transformation of over +200 support programs. Walid recruited a new Executive Team and oversaw a staff of 4,000. Walid successfully implemented best practices in IT administration and operations management, as well as establishing a Project Management Office to centralize and effectively track the many simultaneous transformation projects.

Walid was instrumental in developing a 3-year Strategic Plan that established YAI as a technology leader and innovator in the IDD field. The goal was supported by 3 objectives: Investing in applications and infrastructures for seamless and real-time data visibility; Invest in Person Centered Technology (e.g., smart homes & virtual reality); Develop more accessible and barrier free technology for the people he support.

Walid Khoury's educational career began with him earning a B.S. in Information Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
