Deanthony Smith

DeAnthony Smith, PHR has a strong background in human resources with experience in various roles and industries. DeAnthony is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at LeCom Utility Contractors since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Logistics CPT in the US Army starting from October 2010. From January 2018 to April 2022, they held positions at Faurecia, including US1 Operations HR Manager and Human Resources Manager. Before that, they worked at BLG LOGISTICS GROUP AG & Co. KG as a Human Resources Manager & Project Coordinator from May 2015 to January 2018. DeAnthony began their career as a Human Resources Business Partner at BLG Logistics in May 2012, where they worked with directors, managers, and other supervisory personnel, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and facilitating new employee orientation.

DeAnthony Smith, PHR has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from The University of Alabama (2012-2015). DeAnthony also has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Military and Strategic Leadership from Marion Military Institute (2010-2012). In terms of certifications, DeAnthony obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2017 and a Master Resilience Trainer certification in 2016. DeAnthony also has additional training in Project Management.
