Robert Woods

Robert Woods has extensive experience in the field of glycobiology and biochemistry. Robert started their career as a Post Doctoral Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990, followed by a position as a Post Doctoral Associate at the University of Oxford in 1991. In 1994, they joined the National Research Council as a Scientist. Robert then joined the University of Georgia in 1995 as a Professor. In 2008, they became the President of Lectenz® Bio and also held the position of Professor of Computational Glycosciences at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Additionally, they currently serve as the President of GlycoConsulting, LLC since 2015.

Robert Woods began their education at Queen's University in 1981, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Chemistry. Robert completed this program in 1985. Following this, they continued their education at Queen's University and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry between 1985 and 1990.
