Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has extensive work experience in software research and development, particularly in the retail industry. Amit served as the VP of Software R&D at Lectra, where they led the global operations and was responsible for driving the strategic vision of the organization. Prior to that, at Aptos Retail, they held various positions including Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Software Development, where they led cross-functional teams and focused on revenue generation and customer satisfaction. Amit also worked at HCL Comnet as a Software Developer and at Tata Motors as an Electronics Engineer.

Amit Kumar holds an MBA degree in Information & Knowledge Management from SUNY New Paltz, which was earned from 2002 to 2004. Amit also has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, completed from 1994 to 1998. Moreover, they have obtained additional certifications including Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2023, and NYS Citizen Public Health Leader from Cornell University in 2021. Amit also holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) from Microsoft.
