Jorge Barbas

Jorge Barbas has a diverse work experience in finance and administration roles. Jorge started their career as a Trainee at Stevens Garnier Ltd in 2010. Jorge then worked at SOGRAPE as a Management Control analyst from June 2011 to May 2012 before transitioning to the role of Commercial Finance and Business Analyst from June 2012 to March 2016. In 2016, Jorge joined Gerber Technology as a Business Sales Analyst for EMEA until September 2017. Jorge then took on the role of Business Manager for EMEA & SWA from September 2017 to January 2019 before being promoted to Director of Shared Services for EMEA & SWA from February 2019 to December 2021. Currently, Jorge is working as the Director of Finance & Administration for Southern Europe and North Africa at Lectra, starting in January 2022.

Jorge Barbas holds a Master's degree in Economic Analysis from FEP U. Porto, earned from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution, between 2006 and 2010. Furthermore, they have additional certifications such as a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge (year obtained is unknown), and a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in 2007.
