Kathy McCarty

Kathy McCarty has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Kathy began their career in 1987 as an Audit Manager at KPMG, specializing in financial services and manufacturing companies. In 1995, they became one of the founding officers at Flatiron Capital, responsible for operations of loan processing, contract servicing, customer service, and finance/accounting. In 2000, they became CFO at ColorLink, Inc., managing all financial, accounting, HR, IT, and legal functions for a start-up specializing in the design and manufacturing of optical components and systems for the emerging HDTV market. In 2008, they became CFO at Albeo Technologies, managing all financial functions for an industrial LED lighting fixture design and manufacturing start-up. In 2012, they became Projects Business Leader at GE Lighting, leading the business design of SAP Projects System for GE's emerging LED lighting services and projects business. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Fractional CFO at CKM Associates and Ascent CFO Solutions, providing CFO strategic, operational and financial services to small and mid-sized companies. In 2019, they became the Head of Finance at Misty Robotics.

Kathy McCarty graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business with a B.S. in Accounting. In June 1990, they obtained a CPA certification from the Colorado Society of CPAs | COCPA.
