Scott McGrath

Scott McGrath has worked in the Information Technology field since 1997. Scott began their career as a Consultant/Intern at Burton Snowboards, where they assisted the user support department and developed scripts and software tools to assist other departments. In 1998, they took a position at Vermont Technical College as Network Administrator and Adjunct Faculty, where they maintained Netware file servers, GroupWise e-mail, web servers, and supporting network infrastructure, as well as prepped, taught and graded four freshman courses. In 2002, they became the Director of Networks at Vermont Law School, where they were responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, and all servers. In 2005, they took a position at Shakedown Music as Business Manager and Performer, where they managed the band, coordinated marketing and bookings, designed sound systems, and mixed the band's sound during shows. In 2006, they joined LEDdynamics Inc as Sr. Director of Information Services and Software Development, where their duties included strategic planning, all aspects of system administration, phone system, and desktop support. In 2011, they co-founded OwnRisk Media, an efficient, forward-thinking organization that serves the needs of local musicians. In 2012, they became President and Owner of High Tech Harmony, LLC, where they assist companies in overcoming technical challenges of various information technology projects.

Scott McGrath attended Vermont Technical College from 1994 to 1999 and obtained a BS in Electromechanical Engineering, an AS in Computer Engineering, and an AS in Electrical Engineering Technology. Theirfield of study included Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering.
