Hubert Cleonis

Hubert Cleonis is an experienced firmware applications engineer with a strong background in embedded software and technical leadership across various industries, including cryptocurrency, pay-TV, and contactless payment applications. Currently at Ledger since May 2019, Hubert contributes to the Vault product, enhancing security for financial institutions' cryptocurrency management. Prior to Ledger, Hubert worked at NAGRA for over a decade, assuming roles from TVKey Embedded Software Expert to project coordinator, and played a significant part in developing pay-TV features and obtaining certifications for set-top box chipsets. Hubert's career began at Oberthur Technologies, where Hubert led the development of contactless payment solutions and improved the security of pay-TV smart cards. With a solid educational foundation in electronics and computer science from Polytech Paris-Saclay and IUT d'Evry, Hubert brings a wealth of knowledge in assembly language, C, and cryptographic techniques to the field.
