Alex Marks has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They started their career as Assistant Coordinator at Sterling Hall Tennis Camp and later became a Senior Instructor at Lytton Park Tennis. In 2012, Alex joined the Richard Ivey School of Business as a student.

After completing their education, Alex started as a Merchandise Planning Business Analyst Intern at Target Canada in 2013. They also served as a Student Participant at the Doha Gathering of All Leaders in Sport (GOALS) during the same year. In 2013 and 2014, Alex held the position of Co-President at the Ivey Marketing Club.

In 2014, Alex returned to Target Canada as a Business Analyst in the Sporting Goods and Toys (TSG) team. They managed the Team Sports and Fan Central categories and excelled in planning and executing inventory strategies. Alex also took on the role of finance captain for the TSG analysts.

In 2015, Alex joined Google as a Marketing Specialist. They led various marketing campaigns, including YouTube FanFest Toronto and the Digital Breakfast program. Alex also worked as an Associate Product Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and Strategic Partnerships Development Manager during their tenure at Google.

In 2020, Alex joined Cubert Inc. as Director of Strategy & Innovation, leading product marketing, consumer insights, and business strategy. They later became General Manager of Subscriptions, overseeing the FitTrack business within Cubert.

In 2022, Alex joined Ledn as Director of Product Marketing and was subsequently promoted to Director of Product Management. As of March 2023, they hold the position of Head of Product at Ledn.

Overall, Alex Marks has gained extensive experience in product management, marketing, strategy, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Alex Marks attended Royal St. George's College from 2006 to 2010, where they received their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Alex then went on to study Management and Organizational Studies with a focus on Consumer Behaviour at Western University from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they attended the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned an Honours Business Administration degree.
