Matthew Nickless is an experienced public safety professional with a background in firefighting and peacekeeping. Currently serving as a Firefighter for Leduc County and a Community Peace Officer Level 1 for the City of Spruce Grove since July 2021, Matthew previously held positions at Covenant Health Canada as a Supervisor of Protective Services and at Parkland County as a Peace Officer and Field Training Officer. Matthew's career in law enforcement began in 2007 with the Town of Calmar as a Peace Officer, while also serving as a Firefighter and Lieutenant for Calmar Fire during the same period. Matthew holds a Police Studies Diploma from MacEwan University, obtained between 2004 and 2006.
