Tomara Hall, M.A., has extensive experience in education and community service, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and Soccer Coach at Union School District since March 2015, where Tomara has led the Girls' JV Soccer team to league quarterfinals. Additionally, Tomara has been a member of Leadership for Educational Equity since June 2015 and a Corps Member as well as a 2018 Rising Leaders Fellow with Teach For America since January 2014. Previous roles include AmeriCorps Member with the Corporation for National and Community Service, LEE Summer Fellow with Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco, and Special Education Teacher at Alum Rock School District. Tomara holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Government, as well as Economics, from California State University, Stanislaus.
