Leeds West Academy is a transformational learning community at the heart of West Leeds, where we are proud to be a part of the local community and make a difference in the lives of our students. As one of the founding schools of the White Rose Academies Trust, we are dedicated to creating opportunities, inspiring success, and driving positive change for our students and families.

With a Good Ofsted rating (September 2023), our journey of continuous improvement is underpinned by our three core values: Care, Commitment, and Community. These values shape everything we do, ensuring our students are supported to achieve their best in a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment. Our simple rules—Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe—create a foundation for success and help guide our students to their full potential.

At Leeds West Academy, we are committed to delivering a high-quality, ambitious curriculum designed to secure exceptional futures for our students. Our Roadmap for Embedding Excellence outlines our three-year vision to enhance education, create transformative opportunities, and build a school that our community can be proud of.

We believe in the power of education to unite, inspire, and drive success, and our talented staff are at the forefront of this mission. With a strong focus on personal development and professional excellence, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of high standards, collaboration, and staff wellbeing. Our academy is a place where both students and staff thrive, and every individual is valued and supported to succeed.

As we continue to grow, we invite you to join us on our journey of transformation. Whether you're a prospective student, staff member, or partner, we welcome you to explore what makes Leeds West Academy a special place for learning and community.
