Mitzi Morris

Mitzi Morris has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mitzi started their career as a Massage Therapist in 2000, where they owned their own business and specialized in various types of massages. In 2009, they transitioned to the healthcare industry and worked as an R.N. at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, gaining experience in operating room circulation and scrub nursing for a wide range of surgeries. In 2014, Mitzi became an RNFA at RNFA, and later moved on to work as a Registered Nurse First Assistant/Urology at University of South Alabama Health in 2018. Mitzi also briefly worked as a Consultant in 2022, before taking up their current role as the Director of custom surgical packs at Leesar, Inc. starting from 2023.

Mitzi Morris earned their Bachelor's degree in Nursing Education from St. Petersburg College in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a program in RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) at Southwest Florida College from 2014 to 2015. Mitzi also holds an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing from Chipola College, obtained from 2004 to 2006. In 1999, they received a Certificate in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage from Tom P Haney Technical Center. Mitzi has additional certifications including Certified Nurse Operative Room (CNOR) from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) in 2013 and Massage Therapist from the Florida Board of Massage in 2000. Mitzi also obtained their Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Florida Board of Nursing in 2006.
