David van Taylor

David Van Taylor is an experienced producer and director with a diverse background in documentary filmmaking and project development. Currently active as a Producer-Director for "The Night Before Christmas" at Left Right and a Creator & Librettist for "Number Our Days: A Photographic Oratorio" at Oxingale Music, David has also worked as a Consulting Writer for the Seedworks Foundation, restructuring a documentary on peace activists Daniel and Phillip Berrigan. Previous roles include Director of Development at Years of Living Dangerously LLC, where David focused on projects related to climate change, and Producer at NBC Peacock Productions, specializing in dramatic recreations for Investigation Discovery series. David's extensive experience also encompasses producing content for major networks such as HBO, PBS, and CNN, as well as co-creating the relationship-experiment show "7 Days of Sex" for Lifetime. An alumnus of Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Afro-American Studies, David's career spans over three decades, marked by impactful storytelling across various media platforms.
