Legalex is practice management software for law firms. It brings matters, documents, timekeeping, billing, and client communication together so your team works from one place.

What Legalex is made for
Legalex is built for law firms that want a clean system of record and a simple daily workflow. If your team moves between matters in different practice areas and needs one place to track tasks, documents, time, billing and client updates, Legalex will feel natural. Partners can see progress and profitability, associates can focus on the work in front of them, and your admin team can invoice and reconcile without chasing data across tools.

The day to day flow
Most days start with the firm dashboard. Upcoming hearings, filing deadlines, tasks and matter updates are listed in one view. From there users drill into a matter to review documents, add notes, log time or send a client update. Timekeepers can run a timer while they write or review, then submit entries for approval. At the end of the week your billing team generates draft invoices, routes them for partner review and sends clean, itemized bills to clients. The client portal shows status and invoices, which cuts the back and forth over email.

Matters and workflows
Every matter holds its own timeline, contacts, tasks, documents and financials. You can assign owners and roles, set key dates and create checklists for common matter types. Templates help you stand up a new matter with the right tasks in seconds. Tasks show who is responsible and what is due next, which means fewer surprises. Notes and comments keep conversation close to the work so you are not searching through long email threads.

Calendar and tasks
Deadlines matter in legal work. Legalex lets you map court dates, hearings, client meetings and internal reviews to a shared calendar. Tasks sync with the calendar so everyone can see the real timeline. You can filter by practice area, matter owner or location, then subscribe from Outlook or Google Calen
