Lars Mahler

Co-Founder & Chief Science Officer at LegalSifter

Lars Mahler has had an extensive career in the technology industry. Lars began working at Accenture in 2005, where they held the role of Manager of Marketing Transformation and Consultant of Marketing Transformation. In 2009, they joined Wells Fargo as a Consultant of Marketing Transformation, where they managed projects to integrate the client's enterprise marketing workflow system with data warehouse and key IT systems. In 2011, they became a Consultant for the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium at WestEd. In 2012, they completed Carnegie Mellon's MS CS program, focused on machine learning and natural language processing, and co-founded LegalSifter. Since 2014, they have been the Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer of LegalSifter, where they have sifted 400,000+ contracts, saved 100,000+ hours, and served 1,400+ clients.

Lars Mahler received their high school degree from St. Charles Preparatory School in 1996. Lars then attended Ohio Wesleyan University, earning a BA in Economics and Spanish in 2000. In 2012, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
