Legasee Educational Trust is a charity dedicated to preserving the memories of British service men and women, and making those memories matter.

We film high-definition interviews with veterans from 1939 to the present day, capturing their first-hand accounts of war, peacekeeping, training, and transition to civilian life. These are not just stories; they are voices of experience, resilience, and service.

Our growing archive features over 700 interviews and is a free, accessible resource for students, teachers, researchers, and anyone interested in modern military history. Whether you’re exploring D-Day, National Service, the Cold War, Afghanistan or the role of women in the Armed Forces, you’ll hear the people who were there.

We also bring history to life through:
- Veterans’ Voice podcast, sharing testimony in a powerful, human way
- Education programmes, helping students develop skills, confidence and curiosity
- Exhibitions and digital content for museums, schools, and beyond
- Workshops and events, connecting veterans and communities across generations

Everything we do is rooted in respect — for service, for memory, and for truth.

We now have the largest, free-to-view film archive of British military Veterans on the web, and our ambition is to record many more interviews so that future generations can learn from the legacy of bravery and sacrifice of these men and women.
