Guy Cave

Guy Cave has extensive work experience in the philanthropic and development sector. Guy is currently serving as the President of the Legatum Foundation, a global investment partnership based in Dubai that aims to improve people's lives by increasing prosperity worldwide. In this role, they are responsible for the philanthropic activities of the organization.

Prior to their current position, Guy Cave worked as a Senior Advisor at Legatum Foundation, where they provided guidance on various areas related to philanthropy. Guy developed new projects in multiple countries, focusing on community-based humanitarian response, family-based care for children, advancing justice, and the role of character and virtues in leadership. Guy also represented Legatum on the Steering Committee of the Deworming Innovation Fund.

Later, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of York. In 2002, Guy completed the Post Qualifying Social Work Award from the Greater London Post-Qualifying Consortium. Continuing their educational journey, they achieved a Master's degree in Children's Rights from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, between 2003 and 2004. Lastly, in 2020, they attended the Harvard Kennedy School for Executive Education, focusing on Leadership and Character in Uncertain Times.
