Xuning Wang

Xuning Wang is an accomplished bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Director of Bioinformatics at Legend Biotech since July 2020, Xuning Wang previously held roles including Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Legend Biotech, Senior Computational Biologist at Flagship Pioneering, and Senior Research Investigator II at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Additional experience includes positions as Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Beckman Coulter Genomics, Assistant Director of Bioinformatics/Computational Biologist at The Rockefeller University, and Senior Systems Engineer at Pfizer. Xuning Wang's expertise encompasses the development of workflows for analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, collaboration across multiple departments, and building bioinformatics resources and tools. Education includes a PhD in Molecular Biology and a Master's degree in Computer Science, both from The University of Memphis.
