Yi Pei is an experienced researcher with a strong background in antibody discovery and molecular biology. From November 2016 to May 2018, Yi served as a Senior Research Investigator at Bristol-Myers Squibb, focusing on the development of cellular assays for drug discovery and leading the Cell Line Design & Development team. Following this role, Yi worked as Vice President at NovaRock Biotherapeutics Ltd from June 2018 to April 2024, leading project teams in the development of monoclonal and bispecific antibodies with applications in Immuno-Oncology. Currently, Yi holds the position of Executive Director at Legend Biotech, specializing in Antibody Discovery and Protein Science. Yi's earlier academic contributions include a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Rockefeller University and a Research Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, as well as significant roles at Merck, where Yi researched RNA therapeutics and high-throughput screening. Yi holds a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Cornell University and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, respectively, from Nanjing University.
