Simon Jones

Simon Jones is currently an Advisory Board Member at Legendary. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Automotive Repair Services at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah from May 2013 to October 2021. Before that, they were the General Sales Manager at The Niello Company from August 2012 to May 2013.

Simon has always been passionate about the automotive industry. Simon began their career in 2012 as the General Sales Manager at The Niello Company. Simon was responsible for all aspects of the sales department, including strategic planning, recruiting and inspiring the sales force, product acquisition and management, expense discipline, P&L management and pricing. In just one year, Simon successfully increased sales volume and profitability of new and pre-owned vehicles.

In May 2013, Simon became the Vice President of Automotive Repair Services at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. In this role, they were responsible for building and growing a new company-owned car repair business. Simon created a strategy to deliver amazing automotive repair experiences across 3 States and assembled highly engaged teams who could fuel the growth required. Simon also developed and executed standardized and scalable operational processes. Under Simon's leadership, the business grew and maintained an approved partner network in non-priority geographies.

In October 2021, Simon left AAA to join Legendary as an Advisory Board Member. In this role, they provide advice and guidance to the company on a range of topics related to the automotive industry.

Simon Jones has a certificate in corporate innovation and financial data analysis from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Simon also has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Birmingham. Lastly, they attended St Paul's School.
