Chris Oates is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in political risk analysis, civic engagement, and education. As the Founder of Legislata and Two Lanterns Advisory, Chris focuses on creating innovative solutions for political institutions and risk practice. In an academic role as an Adjunct Lecturer at Boston University's Pardee School, Chris teaches graduate-level courses on Political Risk Analysis. Additionally, Chris serves as a Senior Advisor at Oxford Analytica, contributing to training and thought leadership in political risk analysis. Involvement in various civic initiatives includes serving on the Board of Directors for One Nation Every Vote and advising efforts for Ranked Choice Voting in Massachusetts. Chris holds a Ph.D. and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, alongside a BA in Political Science and Classics from Brown University.
