Tim Rooke has held various roles in the tech industry since 2012. Tim began their career as a Creative Marketer at The Gateway in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Legal Writer for Navocet and as a Freelancer for Unruly. Tim also attended General Assembly in 2017 as a Student of Web Development. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Junior Full Stack Developer at Bili, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the Bili platform, overseeing a migration from MySQL to MongoDB, and building a WordPress customer-facing site. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Full Stack Developer and then a Software Engineer at Axis Workshops. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Legl.
Tim Rooke has a diverse educational background. Tim began their studies in 2004 at The Thomas Hardye School, Dorchester, where they obtained A Levels and GCSEs. Tim then attended the University of Exeter from 2009 to 2012, earning an LLB in Law. Following this, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in History of International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2012 to 2013. In 2017, Tim attended General Assembly and earned a Web Development Immersive degree in Web Development. Additionally, Tim has obtained numerous certifications, including an Upper Intermediate Lower certification from Cactus Language Training in 2022, an AWS Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in 2018, and a Computer Science 101 certification from Stanford University in 2019.
