Alex Cuevas

COO at Legwork

Alex has guided, led, and motivated worldwide teams of more than 300 employees. Early in his career, he held individual contributor roles ranging from support engineer, sales engineer, and sales professional, as well as manager of sales and sales engineering and professional services. Prior to Legwork, Alex began at Kaseya as Chief Customer Officer, then as the company grew through acquisition, he stepped into an M&A role and eventually took on a Global Account Management role where he focused on building and managing the combined global companies account management teams.

As the Legwork Chief Operating Officer, Alex offers a top-performing and results-driven leadership style for directing sales growth and profit optimization in ever-changing, dynamic environments. He heads up the go-to-market teams including sales, onboarding, customer patient marketing, support, and customer success. Alex focuses on building leaders, operational processes, metrics, and process design, and monitoring processes through KPIs.

Alex loves building teams that drive business value and outcomes for customers so they can achieve their goals. He’s dedicated to seeing people progress in their careers, investing in first time managers who often progress on to higher leadership roles. Alex enjoys mentoring those earlier in their careers, providing coaching for their professional development.

Outside of Legwork, Alex is passionate about animal welfare and has been plant-based for over 30 years. He has a black belt in martial arts and enjoys randori in Japanese Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His favorite weekend pastime, though, is hanging out with his son.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Yale University.
