Florian Schaefer

Florian Schaefer began their work experience in 2001 as a Trainee at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nordwestfalen, where they focused on examination law. Florian then worked as a Trainee at Law Firm Baumeister pp. and Law Firm Hölter & Elsing, where they gained experience in economic law and arbitration. In 2003, they became a Lawyer at Law Firm Dr. Heimler Mönius Kleinspehn.

From 2005 to 2008, Florian worked as a Legal Counsel at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, specializing in contract drafting, competition law, and anti-trust law. In 2008, they joined Leica Camera AG as its first in-house legal counsel, focusing on securities law and later taking on responsibilities as General Counsel and Legal Advisor. Florian was involved in significant projects such as implementing a compliance program and leading a team of legal counsels and paralegals.

In 2021, Florian Schaefer became a Lecturer at Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Overall, Florian has extensive experience in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, compliance, international contract drafting, and various legal aspects in different organizations.

Florian Schaefer's education history begins in 1995 when they attended FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they studied Law. Florian remained at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg until 1997. Following this, from 1997 to 2000, Florian Schaefer attended the University of Münster, where they earned their 1. State Exam in Law. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued FRG - Legal Clerkship, obtaining their 2. State Exam in Law. Most recently, Florian Schaefer enrolled at the University of St.Gallen in 2021 and is expected to complete their CAS Advanced Management Program in Leadership & Persönliche Entwicklung in 2023.
