Rob Monroe

Rob Monroe, MD, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Leica Biosystems and holds the position of Vice President & Chief Scientific Officer – Oncology at DH Diagnostics LLC. With extensive experience in the medical and scientific fields, Monroe previously held roles as Chief Medical Officer at Bio-Techne and Advanced Cell Diagnostics, and served as VP Laboratory Operations and Medical Director at Veracyte. Monroe co-founded OncoMDx Laboratories and was the Chief Medical Officer at BioImagene. Early in the career, Monroe was a Pathologist at Central Coast Pathology Consultants and completed a Cytopathology Fellowship at UCLA Medical Center. Academic credentials include an MD and PhD in Medicine and Genetics from Harvard Medical School, as well as an AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
