Matt Smith

Matt Smith is an experienced rugby professional currently serving as Assistant Coach and Leicester Tigers Academy Head Coach at Leicester Tigers since June 2004. Smith has also played for Leicester Tigers and previously held the position of Head Rugby Coach at the University of Leicester from August 2016 to June 2019, where Smith led the Men's First XV to consecutive league victories while planning and executing training sessions. Smith holds a BA Hons in Business Management from the University of Nottingham, completed in 2009, and attended Oakham School from 1997 to 2004.
