Chris McGee, BEng MSc MIET, is a Senior Grid Lead and Electrical Engineer specializing in Renewable Energy Development. With over a decade of experience in renewable engineering projects, Chris has managed grid connections in the UK and Ireland and played a pivotal role as the Senior Electrical Engineer for the world's largest floating tidal turbine. They hold a 1st Class Honors degree in Engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment. Chris has contributed to over 15 GW of global Solar PV, 10.5 GW of Wind, and 6 GW of BESS projects, and has served as a guest speaker at various esteemed engineering seminars. Currently, Chris is working towards Chartered Engineer status through the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET).
