Dan Kovaluk

Dan Kovaluk is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in software engineering and advanced technology solutions. Currently serving as Vice President at Leidos since September 2013, Kovaluk directs initiatives in technical collaboration and technology leverage across various markets. Prior to this role, Kovaluk held the position of Vice President at SAIC, leading a team of scientists and engineers in innovative research and solutions for intelligence and defense customers. Kovaluk's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Technical Services at Digital Harbor, where a J2EE-based application platform was developed for multiple clients, and as Software Development Manager at Sprint Nextel, focusing on advanced messaging products. Kovaluk began a career in the United States Air Force as a Captain, where missile warning applications and communication software were developed for NORAD and USAF Space Command. Kovaluk holds an MS in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University and a BS in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University.
