Greg Brown

Greg Brown, PMP, is an experienced marine operations professional with a diverse background in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Marine Compliance Manager and ISO Auditor at Leidos since August 2023, Greg previously held significant positions, including Master/Pilot on the Steamer American Queen at American Queen Voyages™, President of Brown Water Maritime, and Chief Operating Officer at Inland Marine Service and IMS Cruise Lines. Greg has demonstrated expertise in managing large teams, overseeing vessel operations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. With earlier roles as Executive Vice President at American Queen Steamboat Company and Vice President of Marine Operations at Hornblower Marine Services, Greg has a proven track record in business development, crew management, and customer relations. Greg’s foundational maritime experience includes roles as vessel master and staff pilot, beginning as a USCG Licensed Deck Officer. Education includes a degree from Villanova University.
