John Gawron

John Gawron, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in substation engineering and project management. Currently serving as Director of Substation Engineering at Leidos since January 2011, John leads a team of engineers, designers, and drafters, overseeing various projects including protection and control, substation physical, and SCADA systems. Prior roles at Leidos include Vice President of Substation Engineering and Engineering Manager, where John successfully managed operations and expanded team resources. Earlier career experiences at Florida Power and Light involved roles as a Protection and Control Engineer and a Distribution Engineer, where John focused on designing and managing utility systems. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, obtained in 2006.
