Mike Strasner

Mike Strasner is a highly experienced Principal Security Architect at Leidos, specializing in cyber security architecture and engineering since 2018. Prior roles include Security Architect at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, where Mike conducted root cause analysis for high-impact incidents, and Lead Network & Security Engineer at HP Enterprise Services, where Mike established network security infrastructure architecture. Mike has also served as Senior Network Security Engineer at the Federal Communications Commission, designing enterprise networks for over 50 sites, and as Sr. Network & Security Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Mike's career began as Network Operations Team Chief for the US Army, focusing on international LAN/WAN and VOIP security. Mike holds a Masters Certificate in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking from SANS Technology Institute and is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in IT Security from Western Governors University.
