Nathaniel Clair

Nathaniel Clair is a computational linguist and natural language processing specialist with a rich background in theoretical and computational linguistics. They directed the development and testing of NLP and machine translation systems within the context of Document and Media Exploitation. Previously, Nathaniel served as a Senior Faculty Specialist at the University of Maryland, providing expertise for DARPA and IARPA projects, and as Senior Operations Manager at ECS Federal, where they improved data processing pipelines using machine learning. Nathaniel holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has engaged in research focusing on morphology, semantics, and pragmatics.
