Nicholas Ward

Nicholas Ward is the Chief Scientific Officer and Founder of Safe System Culture, where they focus on designing effective traffic safety systems through a culture-centered approach. Previously, they served as the Director of the Center for Health and Safety Culture at Montana State University and held various roles in academia, including positions at the University of Leeds and the University of Minnesota. With expertise in translating research into practice, Nicholas aims to help communities achieve Vision Zero by fostering a strong safety culture and operationalizing the Safe System Approach. They are also currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and completing a Master's and PhD in Psychology at Queen's University.
