Robert Backstrom

Robert Backstrom is an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer with a robust background in IT and systems engineering, currently supporting the FAA CAEG at Leidos since February 2016. Key contributions include PowerShell scripting, ServiceNow ticket support, and cybersecurity mitigation. Previously, Robert executed a successful plan to consolidate FAA spectrum engineering applications using VMware at Leidos. Prior experience includes roles at Lockheed Martin, where Robert built a SharePoint environment, and at SAIC, designing systems to mitigate radio frequency interference for the FAA. Additional roles encompassed teaching network engineering courses, managing network infrastructures, and providing IT support across various companies. Robert holds a diploma from PennWest California and has continually advanced skills in network and systems engineering throughout a varied career spanning over two decades.
