Robin Palit

Robin Palit is an experienced professional in data science and imaging, currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Leidos. They previously held positions as the Manager of Imaging Science and Lead Image Reconstruction Scientist at the same company. Prior to that, Robin was the Manager of the Imaging Group and a Senior Research Scientist at Smiths Detection, where they led a team focusing on imaging algorithms for security products. They earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, where they also served as a Research Associate, and they completed both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in the same field at the same institution and the University of Rochester, respectively.
