Leilac
Simon Thomsen is an experienced Chief Technology Officer at Leilac since November 2022, with a long tenure at Calix Limited starting in November 2011. At Calix, Simon has held various roles including Work Package Leader for LEILAC 2, where responsibilities encompass research and development for technology readiness in engineering design. Simon's background as a Mechanical Engineer includes process design, mechanical design of high-temperature reactors, project management, and customer collaboration for on-site trials. Notable achievements feature successful project management of a major upgrade at the CFC15000 production facility and overseeing the engineering work package for the LEILAC pilot plant in Belgium. Simon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNSW, awarded between 2008 and 2011.
