Marit van Dijk is currently a Project Manager in Product Development at Lely, leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering and wearable sensors. They previously served as a junior Innovation Manager at Medical Delta and conducted pioneering research at Delft University of Technology, where they developed a low-cost wearable power meter for wheelchair athletes and were awarded a patent for the RHIDE system. Marit has also held roles as an embedded scientist supporting the Dutch national swimming team and as a research intern in gait adaptability therapy for stroke survivors. They earned a Master's in Artificial Intelligence and a Master's in Human Movement Sciences, both with honors, from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
