Nick Sim

Nick Sim, PMP®, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Their most recent position was as a Project Lead at LEM starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager at VAT Group from 2021, where they led a global project for the localization of a vacuum module, successfully launching it in 2022 and generating significant revenue.

Nick also worked at B. Braun Medical, where they held the role of Assistant PMO Manager (Product Development) from 2018 to 2021. In this position, they led projects related to EU regulatory compliance and new product development. Nick successfully coordinated with cross-functional teams and ensured the transition of products to meet EU MDR regulations. Nick was also responsible for project leadership and coordination for legacy product improvements.

Before joining B. Braun Medical, Nick worked as a Senior R&D Engineer (Product Development) from 2016 to 2018. Nick's early career included a role as a Junior Product Development Engineer (Delegation Program) at B. Braun Group from 2013 to 2014, where they contributed to a new development project for intravenous catheter products, providing effective solutions for product performance issues.

Nick Sim, PMP®, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Product Design Engineering (School of Manufacturing) from Universiti Malaysia Perlis from 2008 to 2011. In July 2022, they obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute. In addition, in January 2019, they obtained a certification in Motivating and Engaging Employees from LinkedIn.
