Mathieu Lemay has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and engineering. Mathieu is the CEO and co-founder of AuditMap.ai, a company that uses deep learning technology to identify key risk and control statements within audit reports. As the visionary and manager of the company, Mathieu guides the team in merging the latest AI trends with internal audit solutions.
Mathieu also founded Lemay.ai, specializing in the rapid deployment of machine learning and AI solutions for various industries such as real estate, finance, and government.
Mathieu has contributed as a contributing author for Towards Data Science.
In addition, they co-founded Stallion AI, where they served as the head of Applied AI, providing strategic vision and systems integration of innovative AI solutions in the MENA region.
Mathieu has also worked as an advisor in artificial intelligence for Invest Ottawa.
Prior to their work in AI, Mathieu has experience in engineering roles such as design engineer, services director, and director of operations at Nuraleve, where they supervised and optimized processes in a medical device company. Mathieu also worked as a LTE Simulations Engineer at Javed Wireless Technologies, Inc. and as a control systems designer at Green Engineers Ottawa/TRIAS Innovations Corporation.
Mathieu's early work experience includes serving as the Director of Safety and Rescue Operations at Demsis, Inc., where they were responsible for managing a team of over 50 employees and leading high-risk rescues.

Mathieu Lemay completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control Systems at the University of Ottawa in 2010. In addition to their academic education, they also obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they achieved the rank of Black Belt, Nidan (2nd degree) from Judo Canada. Mathieu further enhanced their skills in judo by obtaining the NCCP Level 2 - Dojo Instructor certification from Judo Canada in November 2019. Mathieu also gained knowledge in the field of medical devices by obtaining the certifications for IEC 62304: Medical device software - Software life cycle processes and ISO 13485: Medical devices - Quality management systems from EMERGO, a UL company, in September 2012. Furthermore, they acquired the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification from the Canadian Red Cross in August 2009 and became a National Lifeguard Service - Waterfront (Beach Lifeguard) certified by the Lifesaving Society Canada in June 2008.
