Ryan Fox Squire

Ryan Fox Squire is a highly experienced data science and statistics consultant with a diverse career spanning various roles in both startups and established companies. Currently serving as the Vice President of Investment Data Science at The Carlyle Group since May 2025, Ryan specializes in alternative data, AI/ML, and private equity due diligence. As the owner and Chief Data Scientist of Lembas Data Science since February 2021, Ryan provides comprehensive data science contracting and strategy consulting. Previous positions include a Data Scientist Consultant and Tech Lead at Berkshire Partners, a founding team member and Data Science Leader at SafeGraph, and various roles in research and teaching at Stanford University School of Medicine. Educational qualifications include a BA in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, and Music from Oberlin College, and graduate studies in Neurosciences at Stanford University.
