Leonard Lemoine

Leonard “Lenny” Lemoine has served as both an executive and principal with construction management and contracting companies over the last thirty years. He has varied hands-on experience in both the private and public sectors of commercial, industrial, and healthcare construction.

He began his career in Cottonport, Louisiana, as Administrative and Financial Manager of Cottonport Lumber Company, Incorporated. In 1983 Lenny assumed the position of Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. The company relocated from Cottonport to Lafayette, Louisiana, in late 1983 and the name of the company was changed to The Lemoine Company Incorporated. In January 2001, Lenny assumed his current role as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Lemoine Company, L.L.C.

Mr. Lemoine is an advocate of improving employee’s lives and organizational performance through company sponsored leadership training and strategic planning to promote empowerment and opportunities for growth. In addition, he is actively involved with business development and preconstruction services with emphasis on project team selection, scheduling, means and methods, procurement and constructability issues.

The Lemoine Company, L.L.C. was ranked as a Top 50 Business in The Independent Media Group’s publication of ABiz from 2010 – 2012 and in 2013, Lenny was named ABiz’s Entrepreneur of the Year.

He is an active member of the Acadiana community and is affiliated with numerous professional and philanthropic organizations. Lenny has been married to his wife, Christine, for over 25 years. They reside in Lafayette, Louisiana and have two children, Ryan and Caroline. Ryan is a graduate of West Point Military Academy and recently completed his first tour in Afghanistan. Caroline is a graduate from the University of Georgia and is employed with Gensler, a global architecture and design firm.
