Daniel Freund is an experienced engineering manager currently leading initiatives at Lemonade to innovate within the growth, risk, and partners domains of the Pet product since January 2022. Previously, Daniel served as a lead software engineer in the Israel Defense Forces, designing and implementing reserve management services with a focus on Node.js and PostgreSQL, and as the software engineering team lead at SolarEdge Technologies, where the development of infrastructure for an IoT fleet monitoring system was spearheaded. Early in the career, Daniel gained experience at Wales LTD as a software developer, specializing in C# and .NET Framework, and co-founded MTAHack, the first student hackathon at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv Yaffo, fostering engagement within the Computer Science community. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, obtained in 2017.
