LemonInk provides a straightforward anti-piracy solution for selling ebooks. We aim to help independent publishers, authors and bookstores to safely sell ebooks without the need to go through big platforms.

Our solution works by creating a unique copy of an ebook each time it's purchased. The copy contains visible warnings including customer's information and invisible markings that are very hard to remove.

This technique, called watermarking, is also referred to as social DRM as users are unlikely to share ebooks signed with their name.

In addition to that, if someone publishes such a copy online, we're able to retrieve the identifying information from it and help you identify it's original purchaser.

At the moment we offer support for EPUB, MOBI and PDF files and we're working on adding support for audiobooks in MP3 format.

We aim to provide seamless integration options for existing ecommerce solutions. Our WooCommerce plugin and Shopify App are the prime examples of that. We also offer a very simple to use API that any web developer can easily integrate into any other store.

In the future we’ll offer more out ot the box integrations. First up: PrestaShop.
