Eric Hales

Eric Hales has a diverse work experience in the field of cinematography and video production. Eric started their career in 2006 as the owner of Off The Wire Studios, a full service video production company. At Off The Wire Studios, they specialized in high-quality digital cinematography and post-production, creating a wide range of content including television shows, commercials, promotional videos, music videos, live broadcasts, shorts, and feature films.

In 2011, Eric joined 617 Production Group as the Director of Photography, where they continued to hone their skills in capturing visually compelling footage. Eric then moved on to work with Faithful Dog Digital in 2016 and Lemonlight in 2017, assuming the role of Director of Photography in both companies.

Currently, Eric is employed at MarketScale as the Director of Photography, a role they have held since 2017.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated their expertise in cinematography and video production across multiple projects and companies, showcasing their versatility and dedication to their craft.

Eric Hales has a diverse education history. Eric began their educational journey in 1998 at the Chesapeake Center for Science & Technology, where they obtained a certification in TV Communications. Following this, they attended Tidewater Community College from 2000 to 2003, earning an Associate of Science degree in General Studies. Eric then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a focus on Film/Video at Old Dominion University from 2003 to 2005.
