Steven Cannell

Steven Cannell possesses extensive experience in accounting, currently serving as Controller at Lendio since January 2016, after progressing through roles including Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, and Accountant. Key contributions at Lendio include evaluating and implementing new accounting software, training team members, and enhancing month-end processes for timely financial reporting. Prior to Lendio, Steven worked as an Accountant for the Houston Astros, where management of over 1,000 invoices and the creation of VBA macros improved operational efficiency. Additionally, Steven’s background includes a role as a Health Physics Technician at CH2M HILL, focusing on workplace safety in nuclear facilities. Steven holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Western Governors University and multiple degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Columbia Basin College and Brigham Young University - Idaho.
