Dave Smart

Dave Smart has a strong background in finance, with a focus on invoice finance and credit management. Dave began their career in 1982 at Security Pacific Invoice Finance Ltd as a Senior Credit Controller/Credit Analyst, where they worked for nine years. Dave then joined Union Discount Invoice Finance Limited as a Credit Manager, where they worked for two years. From 1993 to 2000, they worked as a Training Consultant at HPD Software Limited. In 2000, they joined UPS Capital as a Credit Manager before moving to HPD Software - Asia Pacific in 2002, where they served as a Training & Installation Manager until 2009. Dave then transitioned into the role of Regional Sales Director at HPD Lendscape, a position they held for over ten years. In 2018, they returned to HPD Software - Asia Pacific as a Regional Sales Director before becoming the Regional Corporate Director (APAC) in 2021. Their expertise lies in invoice finance, factoring, asset-based lending, and credit management.

From 1974 to 1982, Dave Smart attended Tideway School where they studied Maths & Economics. No degree was specified.
